Freedom Founder Campaign

What is Fido Fixers?

Fido Fixers is a mobile spay/neuter clinic designed to bring affordable veterinary services directly into communities where access is limited or unavailable. Rather than asking families to travel hours for care, the clinic travels to the community. The goal is simple: increase access to spay/neuter services, prevent unwanted litters, and reduce animal suffering before it starts.

Why are you raising money?

Community Cats Support Network was given the opportunity to bring a Fido Fixers mobile clinic to Arkansas. While this is an incredible opportunity, the clinic is not currently ready to operate. Before we can begin scheduling surgeries, the clinic requires repairs, equipment, supplies, and safety upgrades. Some of the currently identified needs include: Equipment & Repairs Generator repair Surgical lighting Water system repairs Surgical tubing replacement General maintenance and safety improvements Medical Equipment Autoclave for instrument sterilization Surgical packs Recovery equipment Medical supplies As the clinic is further evaluated, additional needs may be identified.

Why not just buy a new clinic?

A new mobile surgical clinic can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars to purchase and equip. Most are over $200,000! By restoring and upgrading an existing unit, we can begin serving Arkansas communities for a fraction of that cost.

What happens after the clinic launches?

Once operational, the mobile clinic will travel to underserved communities throughout Arkansas in partnership with local organizations, municipalities, veterinarians, rescues, and community leaders. The long-term goal is to increase access to affordable spay/neuter services, reduce shelter intake, and support sustainable population management across the state.
